New Book: OverQualified — Launching April 15

Kimberly is an entrepreneur, workforce strategist, speaker, and advocate for economic empowerment and workforce access. With more than 15 years of experience in staffing and workforce development, she has helped place thousands of individuals into meaningful employment and has partnered with Fortune 500 companies—including Amazon, Pepsi, Aflac, Walmart, Delta, and others—to support large-scale hiring and talent acquisition initiatives.
In 2015, Kimberly founded Career Center Network, LLC, producing hundreds of in-person and virtual career fairs nationwide. Through these efforts, she has connected employers with diverse talent pipelines while helping job seekers access real opportunities for advancement. She currently serves as President of Klimb Jobs and Media Brands, a national workforce firm offering career fairs (in-person and virtual), hiring events, and workforce access solutions such as career guides and salary analysis.
In 2025, she launched CareerCommute by Klimb Jobs, a transportation initiative designed to connect workers to jobs by removing commute barriers in underserved communities. She also launched KlimbRadio.com, a platform dedicated to workforce insights, career resources, and professional development.
Kimberly is committed to building pathways for others. She mentors emerging entrepreneurs and small business owners and, in 2023, launched the Kimberly Harris Scholarship to provide women-owned business leaders access to professional events, networking opportunities, and business development resources.
She is also the founder of RE-EMERGE, a workforce initiative supporting justice-impacted individuals, President of the Kaitlyn Carter Scholarship Foundation, and founder of Develop Coworking, a collaborative workspace for entrepreneurs. She previously served as Vice President of Print for the Charlotte Area Association of Black Journalists (CAABJ).
Her work and commentary have been featured on iHeartRadio, Radio One, FUBU Radio, Audacy, NBC, FOX, CBS, ABC, Bloomberg Business, Inc., Fast Company, and Bravo TV. In 2025, she and Klimb Jobs received the Partnership Award from the National Caucus and Center on Black Aging (NCBA-SCSEP) for innovative employment solutions supporting older workers.
Kimberly is the author of 26 ½ Ways to Be Empowered in Work & Life, Another 26 ½ Ways to Be Empowered in Work & Life, and Overqualified, a guide to unlearning limits, reclaiming power, and becoming who success tried to break.
